Residents are being urged to help keep our roads safe and in good condition by reporting potholes.
91视频 CEO Ross McKim said potholes can develop anywhere on the City’s extensive road network.
“We have more than 820kms of sealed roads throughout Greater Geraldton to monitor making it a significant challenge for our teams to be across every issue as it arises,” he said.
“With all the rain we’ve been having lately potholes can develop just about anywhere at any time.
“They pose serious risks to drivers, cyclists and pedestrians, and timely repairs are essential to maintaining safe and accessible roads for everyone.
“Although fixing potholes is not a long-term solution it does prevent water getting under the pavement surface which can result in deeper damage and a bigger paving repair down the line.
“With your help we can identify and fix potholes faster, before they become hazards,” Mr McKim added.
Potholes can be reported by either calling the City on 9956 6600, online here or using the Snap Send Solve app.
Potholes on major arterial roads managed by Mainroads WA can be reported via their website
Maintaining the City’s transport network aligns with the “Liveable” theme in the City’s new Strategic Community Plan 2025 – 2035, Your Voice – Our Future.
