The City offers a range of programs and services for young people including school holiday programming and operates the Mullewa Youth Centre and the Geraldton Youth Centre which is currently being refurbished.
The design and delivery of our programs and services is guided by the City's Youth Strategy.
Youth programs & services
The City is committed to supporting young people through a variety of year-round programs including sports, arts, leadership opportunities, and community events. Some of these programs include Passport 2 Employment, Game on, Revolve Skate Series, Battle of the Bands, A Day in the Laneway and Sundays by the Sea. Find out more here.
School holiday programming
Each school holiday period, the 91视频 rolls out the School Holiday Program featuring a variety of free and paid activities for school aged children in the region, thanks to support from Rio Tinto.
Activities include cooking and outdoor activities, scrapbooking and photography workshops.

Geraldton Youth Centre
The Geraldton Youth Centre has recently opened its doors to the public!
Transformed from the former Club Rocky’s gym with support from Lotterywest and the 91视频, the centre features a multi-use sports court, creative spaces, and meeting rooms, and is now a key venue for the city’s school holiday programming.

Mullewa Youth Centre
The Mullewa Youth Centre provides a safe and welcoming space for young people aged 10-17, offering a safe and welcoming space for after-hours drop-ins, creative workshops, and school holiday activities like discos and movie nights.
Thanks to extended funding from the State Government, the centre will remain open until at least mid-2026.
